About Me

I have been working in the music industry for over a decade and across a range of roles. At the very start I was an intern at DF Concerts before working up to become a promoter. It was there that I got approached by Fiction Records (Universal) to become a scout where I have worked since 2009 with an absolutely brilliant team. Whilst at DF I decided that I wanted to learn more about the industry outside of live and so I became a manager where I had some good successful signing my first artist to Ministry of Sound, Ultra and EMI Publishing. It was at that stage that I moved to London. Throughout my career I have setup many record labels and released so much amazing music.

I have worked with so many different artists across a lot of different roles including Twin Atlantic, The Killers, Iggy Azalea, Eliza Doolittle, Marina and the Diamonds, Kiesza amongst many others.

It wasn’t until 2012 that I began teaching across a plethora of music business courses and workshops. Since 2012 I have taught at Point Blank Music College, Ideastap and DiVA in London as well as The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford. Study Music Business is my own project where I can provide one-to-one sessions with my learners and pass on all of my knowledge through short and intensive courses in different areas of the music industry.
